Frequently Asked Questions
Which Markdown is supported?
The common structural subset: ATX headings, paragraphs, emphasis, strong, inline code, fenced code blocks, links, images, ordered and unordered lists, blockquotes and horizontal rules. Tables, footnotes and raw HTML inside Markdown are not converted — they are escaped so nothing executes.
Is the generated HTML safe to embed?
Output is escaped and no raw HTML passes through from the input, so script content cannot survive the conversion. Review it as you would any untrusted markup before putting it in a page.
