Frequently Asked Questions
Does this tool change my file?
No, and there is nothing to download. The measurements are read out of the file header and reported back: width, height, aspect ratio, colour depth and the internal blocks the container uses. Where the header and your browser disagree, which happens when a camera has stored the picture turned, the page shows both numbers and names the reason.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The file is read where it sits, through the File API in your own browser, so a private picture never leaves the device.
