Frequently Asked Questions

How is Unicode handled?
Text is encoded through UTF-8 first, so emoji and accented characters survive a round trip. The legacy ASCII shortcut btoa() is not used directly.
Is Base64 encryption?
No. Base64 is a reversible encoding, not a security mechanism — anyone can decode it. Never use it to protect secrets.
